John LeCompt, guitarist for Evanescence, has been fired from the band, and drummer Rocky Gray has quit. LeCompt told the L.A. Daily News about that his dismissal was upsetting and revealed a key flaw in the band.
"I'm done, and I'm pretty upset about it," LeCompt said. "(Singer) Amy Lee called and fired me today. There's absolutely no loyalty in this band."
LeCompt says that he and Gray will be focusing on a new band called Machina.
