Flo Rida's "Low" was a #1 hit, as well as a popular ringtone. Now, the Florida rapper is looking to duplicate the success of "Low" with his latest single, "Elevator."
"Elevator" is the second single off Flo Rida's debut album, "Mail on Sunday," which came out on March 18th, 2008. "Elevator" was produced by Timbaland. The song came about thanks to some very diverse influences. The intro is based on John Carpenter's theme song to the movie Halloween. The second verse was influenced by Will.i.am's "The Donque Song." And the "Elevator" chorus was inspired by the now-infamous "ella ella" part of the Rihanna hit "Umbrella."
The "Elevator" music video features Flo Rida and a series of women in -- where else? -- an elevator. The video also has cameos from Timbaland, singer Christina Milian, and rapper Rick Ross.
