Two Australian teenagers are being accused of planning a school massacre, and the music of Drowning Pool is involved. The two teens allegedly talked about shooting people and created a hit list of teachers and students to take out.
One of the teens also raised suspicion by posting a Drowning Pool song on a friend's website. Want to guess what song it was? Wait for it... wait for it... and... "Bodies." Yeah, didn't see that one coming, did you?
The police did get involved, but ultimately no charges were filed against the boys and both received mental treatment.
According to the Sydney Morning Herald, one of the boys was quoted as saying, "Two girls reported it to the principal, said my friend was scaring them and was going to basically go around shooting people. I don't think he [the friend] really sent any emails, he just generally talked about it here and there. People took it the wrong way and thought he was serious about it all."
Hey kids, here's a tip: Don't joke about school shootings. It's not going to go over well. What ever happened to old-fashioned way of getting back at popular kids; by growing up and becoming their boss? Kids today have no respect for tradition.
