Dr. Dre is almost finished with his next album, Detox, but he says it won't be out until 2008. Dre, you're scaring me Chinese Democracy style, which isn't to say we aren't excited about the next Dre-influenced Keane record.

But the double bad news here is that this might also be Dre's last album. Hey, even if we just get one more, I don't mind. Dude's masterpieces are in the bag already anyway.

As for Detox, Last we heard, the Doc was going to release the album this month but now he says he's still got two or three tracks to finish. He's also a bit busy:

I was really hoping to have it out this year, but it's going to have to be pushed back a while because of some other things I've got to work on.

Instead of finishing up Detox, the legendary former-member of N.W.A. will work on Eminem's forthcoming album for the next two months. He also seems to be busy getting the rights back to some album called The Chronic.

Finally, he took a moment to clarify his stance on both 50 Cent and The Game, two of Dre's former protégés who have a beefy history.

I told them, ‘I love working with both you guys. I don't have a problem with either of you. It was more like what is going to be the best move under the circumstances. I don't even remember who came up with the idea of putting Game on Geffen, but it was absolutely not me picking 50 over him.
