When will people get it through their heads? You don't harass Diddy when he's up in the club. A man named Steven Acevedo learned this the hard way when Diddy punched him in the face over the weekend.
The fight allegedly started over Diddy's new love interest, a "striking blond," who used to date Acevedo. According to reports, the two began arguing, then Diddy punched the man in the face twice and yelled "I'll kill you, punk!" Acevedo left with a cut lip and bloody nose. Acevedo also tells police that one of Diddy's bodyguards flashed a gun.
It appears that Diddy will be charged with third-degree assault in the incident. He will also be given a desk-appearance ticket, but will not face any jail time.
(Of course he won't face jail time, he's rich.)
This continues a pattern of getting into legal trouble for Diddy, who was recently sued by both a club promoter and a prison inmate. On the bright side, Diddy will have his revenge when those three guys don't get invitations to the 2008 White Party.
