The band said:
We're really glad that you are excited about the second part of the Louder Now DVD. Here is what we know so far: The DVD is scheduled for mid-November. We're still finishing up and we won't bore you with what goes into the process of putting out a DVD, but we are working hard to get it out as soon as we can.
It will be value priced and will not be packaged with the Louder Now album. It will have a CD companion with live tracks and B-Sides from the album. Most bands do the CD companion so that CD stores that don't sell music DVD's will still carry it. It's usually easier for you guys to find if it's in the music section.
There will be behind the scenes footage, band commentary, previously unreleased live videos, the video for Twenty-Twenty Surgery that was made for Europe, bounus features including the "Making Of" for the Video of Liar and more...
Parttwo is meant to be the companion piece for Partone. The reason we did it this way was because the DVD was always meant to chronicle the Louder Now album cycle and since you have to stop filming to edit, package and release a DVD, we wanted to find a way to continue the process. Doing it in two parts seemed to make the most sense. There is no Partthree. That we know of at least. We hope that answers some of your questions and we're excited to finish up!Should be good... and I love that they're not re-releasing the CD people already bought, and will instead be providing a new disc with live tracks and b-sides. It shows a lot of respect for the fans who bought the disc when it came out, and makes the whole product something new -- and therefore, something you actually want/need to own.
