Dave Matthews is slowly adding to his acting resume, this time via a small role in Adam Sandler's new movie I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry, staring Adam Sandler himself, Kevin James, Jessica Biel, and Steve Buscemi. The movie's plot is based around two heterosexual men who pretend to be a gay couple to seek domestic partner benefits. Based on early screenings of the film, it has been reported that Dave Matthews plays a small role as a gay character who is employeed at a lingere store. Although this will be the first time Dave Matthews has appeared in a film with Adam Sandler, this is not the first time the two have collaborated. The Dave Matthews Band track "Where Are You Going" appeared in Sandler's Mr. Deeds in 2001, along with a few original musical compositions from the Dave Matthews Band that appear throuhgout the movie. I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry is due in theatres on July 20th.
