The Dave Matthews Band will be headed to Army in November to play two shows for the Cadets. Matthews, along with AT&T, held a contest in which one college could win a concert from the DMB. Army beat out 100 or so other entrants, including the other armed services. The shows will take place November 14th and 15th at West Point.
So, all you Navy people, if you needed another reason to hate Army, you've got it.
The contest asked college students to send in homemade videos and text messages with their pleas to Dave. Many Army Cadets sent in videos, including one where students did hip hop dance moves.
Congrats to the Cadets, and keep up all your good work. To all the other colleges out there that participated, sorry you didn't win. But if it makes you feel any better, your schools do get something that Army doesn't get: Girls.
