The Dave Matthews Band has announced that the two shows performed at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, Las Vegas, NV in March of this year will be the 9th volume for their Live Trax series. This two-night stand includes songs from the spectrum of the Dave Matthews Band's career as well as an extraordinary amount of cover songs borrowed from Neil Young, Neil Diamond, The Zombies, and Daniel Lanois. This release accounts for the first officially released versions of "Sister," an original tune performed solo by Dave Matthews, full band versions of Young's "Down By The River," "You Might Die Trying," as well as Lanois's "Still Water" worked into the intro of "Don't Drink The Water." Rashan Ross, guest trumpet player who has been touring with the band during recent tours, is featured throughout both sets.

 

Live Trax Volume 9 will be officially released on Tuesday, June 5th. Pre-orders are open until June 1st exclusively through the official website store at http://www.dmband.com or through the warehouse fanclub store.
