Pretty much any drummer would want to play for Led Zeppelin, wouldn't they?
Dave Grohl definitely would, as the Foo Fighters front man tells NME that he is at the "beck and call" of the rock legends.
Grohl explained, "Ah, if I got that call, what the fuck do you think I'd be saying?"
Led Zeppelin recently reunited to play a couple of charity gigs in England, and tickets have been in extremely high demand. Zeppelin already has a drummer, Jason Bonham, who Grohl thinks is excellent.
"Jason should be the one," said Grohl. "Everyone knows that. He's a fucking phenomenal drummer."
Smart move by Grohl. The best way to collaborate with other artists these day is to tell the media you'd love to collaborate with them, then sit back and wait for the call. If Jason Bonham ever goes down, don't be surprised if Grohl ends up behind the kit.
