Shawty Lo, of snap hip hop group D4L, is getting ready to put out his solo debut, Units In The City.

Although Shawty played second fiddle to D4L frontman, Fabo, he started D4L records in 2003 and produced the group's debut, Down For Life, which featured the hit single, "Laffy Taffy."

Units In The City is set for release this fall and will feature Gucci Mane on one track. Oh, and Shawty, let's at least try and make Ghostface a little bit proud. When Ghostface is happy, we're all happy.
