There is no question that T-pain, Rock Ross and Ace Hood are huge in the Hip-Hop world.  The new collaboration, Cash Flow, is a huge hit that proves the prowess of each artist in one single track.

The beat is strong and the overall feel has a slight hint of what I would call a Master P/No Limit vibe to it.  Considering the fact that the song is called Cash Flow, and Master P was the head of Cash Money records, it's pretty fitting.

And if you're going to have a song called Cash Flow, you know you're going to go after the most lucrative market in music industry with the Cash Flow Ringtone.  The Cash Flow Ringtone is number 3 for the hottest ringtone on the market.

This one is definitely going to stick around for a while.  Like Mathew Arnold's thoughts on epochs of concentration and those of expansion, rap too, moves in cycles.  The two distinct phases are "I shoot people and I brag about it" and "I'm rich and I brag about it".  We are in the "I'm rich and I brag about it" phase, which will, of course, be followed by a "I shoot people and I brag about it" phase.  I can't wait to find out what the next big rapper will be in the upcoming era.  Last time we had 50cent, who was shot like 9 times; the next guy is going to have to be shot like 10+ times just to get anyone to pay attention to him.  Or maybe he'll already be dead..  I mean, Pac sells really well...
