Bucky Covington is the Year's Biggest Country Debut

Bucky Covington is the year's best-selling debut country artist so far, with 220,000 copies of his self-titled album sold, according to a press release.

All I'm saying is, lucky for Bucky that Taylor Swift snagged the end of 2006 for her release, otherwise, he'd definitely be playing second fiddle.

Anyway, the album's first single has made its way to No. 7 on Billboard's country singles chart and the album currently resides at the No. 12 spot on the country album chart.

This week Bucky took some time out of his touring schedule to stop by Idol Camp, the official performance camp from the producers of "American Idol." Yes, it's very real and very frightening. Bucky will do a Q&A session and perform for the campers.
