Britney Spears' people have denied that the singer has been placed on suicide watch by the Promises rehab center in Malibu.
Britney's manager Larry Rudolph had this to say:
"She is in rehab, and it is very disappointing that various media outlets are running these false stories about her, as Britney tries to get better."
Larry went on to add, "I mean, really, if you can't trust US Weekly, In Touch, and The National Enquirer to print honest and straightforward stories, who can you trust? I feel betrayed."
I hope Britney knows better than to commit suicide. Not only is it an awful thing, but I'm pretty sure the Internet couldn't handle it. The top two searches of 2007 on the web are Britney and Saddam's death. So imagine Britney dying; it would be like a combination of those things. No joke, if that happens, we as a society would need to seriously consider retiring the Internet.
