Go figure. Two minutes after posting an article on "The Trajectory of a Pop Star," I find a story about Britney Spears being charged in a hit & run.
Britney has been charged with two misdemeanors -- hit & run and driving without a valid license -- in relation to a car crash that happened last month. Spears could face a $1,000 fine or 6 months in jail if convicted (according to the AP). No word on why our justice system threatens fines or jail sentences that never match up equally.
The incident occurred last month in an L.A. parking lot. Spears crashed into another car, got out to look at the damages, and then took off. The entire sequence was captured by photographers, kinda like everything else that happens in Britney Spears' life. Just a word of advice: If you have millions of dollars and photographers follow you everywhere, and one day you hit another car, you should probably leave your insurance info.
