After a vicious assault following the band's Video Music Awards performance [were these the most violent VMAs of all time?], news today surfaced with some more details on what happened, as well as the good news that Brent Hinds is expected to make a full recovery from the "severe head trauma" he sustained.
Some details of what happened have emerged -- both security cameras and witnesses claim Hinds was drunk at the time of the incident, which happened around 3am. Reportedly, something set him off, so he removed his shirt and began hitting the man who ultimately delivered quite the beating to Hinds.
The extent of his injuries, in addition to the head trauma, include two black eyes and a broken nose.
Considering that he's going to get better, can I post the band's best video ever and assume he was just acting up at the awards show and these guys came for him? Maybe he nudge, kicked, or jiggled the seat in front of him, made out in there, crinkled food wrappers loudly, brought his baby, or videotaped the show to sell it on eBay?
