The BET Awards ceremony took place last night, and the stars of Dreamgirls led the way with two wins each. Beyonce won for Best Female R&B Singer, as well as Video of the Year for "Irreplaceable." Jennifer Hudson took home awards for Best New Artist and Best Actress.

Lifetime Achievement Award: Diana Ross
Upon being presented the Lifetime Achievement Award, Diana Ross addressed the crowd and spoke about the importance of presenting a positive image.
I have tried to keep the standards high. We do not have to say the F-word, we do not have to pump and grind, we do not have to do some of these things to have longevity in our career.
This speech occured immediately after 50 Cent's performance of "Amusement Park," which was heavily bleeped.
