Let's say you're looking for a ringtone. Do you want something that's the worst? Obviously the answer to that question is no. You want the best. Why? Because you are the best, and therefore your ringtone needs to be the best as well.
We envy people who are the best. You may remember the 1980s hit song "You're the Best Around" by Joe Esposito. Why did people love that song so much? Because it was about someone who was the best (in this case, the Karate Kid). Or have you ever seen that movie Road House? Patrick Swayze is like 5'8", but he still got hired to be a bouncer in a very dangerous bar. Why? Because he was the best.
Around the world, and especially here in America, we expect people to be the best. Even if they aren't the best, they should at least strive to be the best. If you want to be the worst, fine, pack your stuff into a rocketship and fly away to Mars, where they tolerate that kind of crap. But if you're going to stick around here on the planet Earth, you need to be the best. And if you're going to be the best, everything about you needs to be the best, especially your ringtone.
