My gift to you on this rainy [in New York, anyway] Wednesday morning is a video of Paramore covering Johhny Cash's "Walk The Line."
Some highlights for the video-impaired:
- Hayley does not know the words.
- As such, Hayley is reading them off a Sidekick and laughing.
- Hayley hits some rather interesting notes.
- The band can actually play.
- I have never seen someone look less comfortable on stage in my life.
- I've seen better performances from drunk people at karaoke nights.
Nonetheless, it's good for a laugh. Unless you were related to, or close with. Johnny Cash. In that case, I'm sure it's upsetting to visualize your close friend or relative rolling in his grave.
