It's that time of year again! Typically there is a fair amount of inter-band drama when it comes to Rock and Roll Hall of Fame shows. In years past, we've seen bands abandon their lead singer (Van Halen), lead singers abandon their band (Blondie), and bands refuse to attend (Sex Pistols).
These fireworks become even more embarrassing awesome as these bands all have one thing in common - they've been around for over 20 years. Shouldn't they be old enough to know better?
This year, there are a few solo artists and some (seemingly) emotionally- stable acts up for nods, so we might not get the full breadth of awkward on-and-off stage tensions. We might, however, be in store for some amazing performances at the 2008 show. The nominees include:
