As reported last week, video footage of Akon dancing with a female fan at an April 12 concert in Trinidad is causing some outrage in the country. After the performance it was revealed that the girl, Danah Alleyne, is 15-years-old and had apparently snuck into the club.
YouTube pulled the clip over the weekend, citing copyright claims from Universal Records, but it can now be viewed care of DailyMotion.
Update: the clip has been temporarily resurfacing on YouTube and other video-hosting sites for the past two weeks only to be quickly pulled again. We'll do our best to keep it up-to-date here, but in case it vanishes completely: it shows Akon grabbing Alleyne, humping her, picking her up and carrying her to different spot on the stage and humping her again.
As reported yesterday, public officials in Trinidad have called for a criminal investigation into Akon's actions.
