I'm sick, my life is a mess.

I took the day off to do things that needed to be done like go get medical records in another state and deal with a ton of personal bullshit. I'm sorry I am late today, and I'm sorry this will probably be abbreviated and bitter. That's as honest as it gets.

Hey, it's an emo site, no? What else do you expect from me?

In news, Lowell Heflin has left Weatherbox. The optimist in me said, "Awesome! One less band to wait for when I go to see Say Anything!" But... no. He's been replaced by some guy named George, and I guess Weatherbox will still hold up my demands for Max Bemis. TYPICAL.

I also saw Cloverfield, and let's start here: despite what psychosis the guys in Fall Out Boy are suffering, that movie has nothing to do with Infinity on High. I mean, unless they were drawing parallels between the disappointment that both delivered. Oh man, did I enjoy feeling ill enough to require a dosage of TUMS, from the camera work, to the complete lack of monster shots. Seriously... I saw the movie, and I can barely tell you more about the monster than I could before I saw it. I left the theatre pretty annoyed.

In vague news, Bayside shot a video for "Carry On" yesterday, up in Rochester, NY. I only care because this album is in major heavy rotation for me. That, Silverstein, My Chemical Romance, and Say Anything. Nobody tell me music can't save lives, because that's exactly what it does. It says what you can't. It comforts, but it can also make you cry. Music is one of the most amazing reasons to live, because there will always be new music, more bands, and more songs to put your emotions into, knowing someone else feels how you do.

This wasn't much of a news post... but like I said: it's real.
