Aaron Lewis acoustic tour, part 2

Aaron Lewis will begin an acoustic tour on Thursday in Detroit. Actually, this is more like Leg 2 of his tour, as he just wrapped up a series of acoustic shows at intimate venues. Aaron will be giving the audience a mix of Staind songs and covers.

And aren't you in luck; I have two friends who recently saw Lewis perform solo at the Borgata in New Jersey, and today we're offering some exclusive firsthand reviews.

First, an account from Shoutmouth member and my girlfriend-without-benefits KHaff:

"Well, I loved the show. It was very very low key though. He played a good amount of his own stuff, but also some covers. It was funny cause the audience yelled for more cover songs than anything."

Now, a review from my friend Ray:

"Overall a good show but he should have played the Beatlejuice song (Best unplugged Aaron Lewis song). I think his voice is awesome but someone really needs to show him how to play the guitar. They should have kept his friend that knew how to play the guitar on the stage longer. It was funny that people went crazy for 'Garden,' Alice in Chains, and 'Sober' -- but when he played Staind... it was mildly received... just my thoughts."
