The world's coolest househusband is going back to work. In a message on his official website, Gavin Rossdale has confirmed that he is ready to start work on a solo album.
"Hey everyone
It's been some time. how are you?
I wanted to let you know what I have been working on and what's happening.
First off-
I am setting up my new website at Gavinrossdale.com (not live yet but coming very soon)
And I am about to go in and record my first solo record.
I am working with the producer bob rock.
We have a great band to do the record and we start next week.
We'll do half the record in la and the other half in hawaii,where he lives-on the north shore.
So as you can imagine I'm pretty excited about that.
I have spent all of last year writing-and
Here goes.
Rossdale has also written the theme song for the show "Drive," which will air on Sundays on FOX.
This is Rossdale's first solo album, if you don't count Institute.
