MTV and actor Nick Cannon will debut a new show tonight called "Shortcircuitz." The episode was supposed to feature a sketch with Paris Hilton selling WWPD? (What Would Paris Do?) bracelets, but according to Page Six, that sketch had to be edited out after Hilton's lawyer threatened to sue.
The sketch in question shows a Paris look-alike being pulled over for DUI. After consulting her WWPD? bracelet, she grinds on the cop and is let go. Hilton herself appears in the sketch, but not in this specific scene.
Hilton was pulled over on February 27th for driving with a suspended license, which may or may not be related.
I think we can all agree that the only real crime here is doing a "What Would Jesus Do?" parody in 2007.
