Mark it on the books. 50 Cent's supposed tirade at Interscope offices, which you could've read about here, was in fact very real and has been very confirmed by MTV. Fif was reacting to the leak of "Follow My Lead," which hit the ‘Net last week "months ahead of schedule."
MTV cites "Interscope's inability to properly protect his material" as the reason for 50's anger.
The jacked-up dude of a dude also clarified that whole MTV bash ... to MTV. After the music station created a list of hottest MCs, 50 offered them the opportunity to "suck my dick" and ironically told Complex magazine that if he wanted "to be an asshole, idiot," he could "just say whatever I want." Hmmm, only if, of course.
Not surprisingly, Fif clarified his feelings about the station to the station itself.
"When you make a record like I made on my first album Get Rich or Die Tryin', I'm not in competition with those 10 other MCs on the list. I'm in competition with 50 cent. I raise the bar so high that people weigh it up against how it felt when I released my last material," 50 said.
Here's the whole MTV Interview:
