Pop band A-Ha of “Take On Me” fame has taken the stage and taken on the task of speaking out against the Darfur genocide. The Norwegian ‘80s darlings played their first concert of the year on Friday, Aug. 17 at the Fredrikstad Stadium in Fredrikstad, Norway.

The set list included their aforementioned hit as well as “I’ve Been Losing You,” the rarely performed “Lamb to the Slaughter,” and their cover of John Lennon’s “#9 Dream,” which was featured in the CD Make Some Noise: The Amnesty International Campaign to Save Darfur (2007).

The band has confirmed another August concert date: A-Ha will be making some noise at the Alfheim Stadium in Tromsø, Norway on the 25th.
