Ok, I know the video of their original fight might be a little grainy, but $5 million dollars for an organized rematch? If boxing promoter Bob Arum gets his way, we might just see this happen.
Arum told TMZ that he'll "make sure this fight happens no matter what the cost." No matter what the cost!? Someone needs to sit this Arum fellow down and explain to him that this is the dumbest idea ever.
First of all, Kid Rock and Tommy Lee aren't exactly spring chickens. The 44 year-old Tommy Lee and 36 year-old Kid Rock (thanks wikipedia!) may not be dinosaurs, but after years and years of hard partying, Lou Pearlman isn't going to be recruiting them for the next N'Sync either.
Secondly, we have way too short of an attention span. For example, millions and millions of people watched that annoying "Leave Britney Alone!" video last week. Chances you'll remember the name Chris Crocker next week? Slim.
Last but not least, and it pains me to say this: Kid Rock and Tommy Lee just aren't that famous anymore. Did anyone see the sales figures for Tommy Lee's solo album? There is only one reason more than 100 viewers would tune in for this Pay Per View fight. Well, two reasons...
