I don't know if I can ever take "Rock of Love" seriously again. Reports have surfaced that Jes Ricklett, the winner of the show, was in a committed relationship the entire time the show was taping. After Jes told Bret that he made the wrong choice during the "Rock of Love" reunion show, she began telling tabloids that she only did the show to promote herself -- turns out Jes is affiliated with a clothing company called Chii Clothing -- and that she was never searching for real love.
Dammit! If people keep abusing the sanctity of reality TV for their own personal gain, how is anyone ever going to find love?!?! I know Jes went in with no expectations, but I thought Bret's smooth pick-up lines and the couple's shared inability to spell their first names correctly would be enough to change her mind. I guess I was wrong. Hopefully the girls on "Rock of Love 2" will have more respect for Bret's heart. I feel bad for Michaels, but I guess the lesson is, every time you find a beautiful flower, there is oftentimes an uncomfortable sharp prickly thing growing out of the stem. I wish there was a more concise way to say that, but you get the point.
It gets better. Ricklett's boyfriend, a guy named Joe Quade, has been making fun of Bret Michaels on his MySpace page. Take a look at what Mr. Quade had to say in his profile:

If you're a fan of unintentional humor, you should check out Quade's MySpace page immediately. At least 4 of his pictures could go on HotChicksWithDouchebags.com. But bandannas and gang symbols aside, this guy definitely has pictures with Jes. So let's say he's dating her, as is the rumor. Did he watch the show?? His girlfriend definitely banged Bret Michaels. Looking at the guy's top friends, Jes is only 9th, so clearly the relationship isn't going that well.
