Political activist and sometimes-frontman of legendary U2, Bono sat down with President George W. Bush yesterday to discuss the G-8 meetings.
The AP reports that Bush was rather excited to meet with Bono and was heard shouting to an aide, "Where's Bono? Bono for president."
While the American People have not yet commented on Bush's recommendation that Bono be president, the singer finally finds himself at the top of the chain after pressing world leaders to increase aid to Africa.
At last year's National Prayer Breakfast, Bush had some kind words for Bono after the singer's speech.
"You're an amazing guy, Bono. God bless you," Bush said.
Bob Geldof and Youssou N'Dour, a Senagalese singer, also attended the meeting between Bono and Bush.
Finally, to see a much less playful side of Bono, head to CNN. They're hosting a video that shows a very pissed off Bono taking off his glasses. Oooooo.
