London's iTunes Festival began on July 1st with a performance from pop singer Mika, which NME called "energetic."

The iTunes Festival is being recorded, and each band's set will be sold on iTunes as a live album.
Other bands that will be performing as part of the month-long festival (and will also have their performances released as live albums) include Paul McCartney, Travis, Ash, Kasabian and Black Rebel Motorcycle Club.
