Willie Nelson recorded Fats Domino's "I Hear You Knockin'" for an upcoming FD tribute album called Goin' Home: A Tribute to Fats Domino.
The double-disc album will be out on September 25, via Vanguard Records and will also feature covers from Elton John, Paul McCartney, Tom Petty, Robert Plant, B.B. King, Neil Young, Lucinda Williams, Norah Jones and Bonnie Raitt, among others.
The album will raise musical instrument money for public schools in The Big Easy, New Orleans.
