Vince Gill is set to stop by NBC studios for a "Today" performance with his wife Amy Grant on August 3.

As for Vince and Amy's recent tour, he says that now that the couple's daughter tours with them, it's more like a vacation than it is a job.

"It's like a summer vacation. I hate leaving [alone for tours]. I've been traveling for 35 years," Gill said.

Vince also says he's a bit worried that fans might start requesting the song he sang as a duet with Fruit of the Loom's Apple.

"I can see it happen. People will start requesting it. ‘Do the apple song.'"
