Vince Gill's duet with his daughter made him cry

One of Vince Gill's favorite sounds is a family harmony, something country music has long been famous for with acts like the Stanley Brothers and the Carter Family. In fact, Vince loves the sound so much that it makes him cry.

GAC reports that Gill told CMA Close Up that the first time he heard the recording of he and his daughter Jenny singing "A River Like You," from These Days, he cried.

"Something happens when people of the same blood sing together. Jenny really got to shine and I can't even describe how much that really undid me - to hear those two voices shake in exactly the same way - wow," Gill gushed.
