Velvet Revolver will be releasing "The Last Fight" as a single on August 20th. This is the second single off Libertad. The first single, "She Builds Quick Machines," has been moderately successful for the band.
(Of course, it would have been more successful if they had stuck with the original concept for the video where Slash gets into a gun fight in a bar and plays a solo while deflecting bullets with his guitar. But Slash didn't want to do something so "cheesy." Whatever... pussy.)
You can never tell how a song is going to do when it hits radio, but "The Last Fight" is as close to a sure thing as you'll ever get. If this song isn't a huge hit, it will be surprising. It sounds like a classic rock radio station staple.
