Daniel Lanois, a filmmaker and producer of U2 albums such as The Joshua Tree and All That You Can't Leave Behind, will include live never-before-seen clips of U2 in his new documentary, Here Is What Is. The film features footage of Lanois in a studio in Morocco with U2 and Brian Eno.
Here Is What Is will debut at the Toronto Film Festival in September. The film also features footage of Sinead O'Connor, Billy Bob Thornton, Willie Nelson and Aaron Neville.
As previously reported, Lanois is working with U2 on the follow-up to How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb.
