Reportedly, Matt Heafy has said, ""Even if you say 'Trivium sucks!' You're still saying 'Trivium.'" Point taken, but at the same time? People will still hear the "sucks" part after. And "Trivium sucks" isn't a good thing to have people saying.

According to Contact Music, he added, "They say we're deluded, they say we're crazy, they say we suck, they say we stole s**t from Metallica. But all that they're doing is giving us free publicity."

He also reportedly considers music journalists' views/criticisms as "backstabbing", for whatever reason. You know what would be badass? If the band really embraced this negative publicity and started making stickers and shirts that said "Trivium sucks!". It would be double badass if they named their next album Trivium Sucks, then embarked on the Trivium Sucks world tour.

I don't see this happening, but you know what I say... if you're going to embrace something, don't ever do it half-heartedly.
