It was already reported yesterday that Avril Lavigne beat out Nine Inch Nails for the top album this week by a wide margin. Avril sold 100,000 more copies than NIN in a race that was expected to be much closer. The rest of the chart showed little change, and since there isn't much else to add today, let's talk about Carrie Underwood's eating disorder...
Everyone has been criticizing Carrie because she lost a lot of
weight since her time on "American Idol."
When Carrie appeared on "American Idol" this season for a guest
appearance, she looked significantly skinnier.
Well, apparently this is a bad thing, because many people jumped all
over her for being anorexic. You know
what I call those people? Idiots. Carrie Underwood is one of the hottest chicks
in music right now, and she's also a well-respected artist. How is this a bad thing? If you were a baseball player, and you knew
you could be one of the best by taking steroids, would you? If you were a singer, and you knew you could
be one of the most famous by losing a bunch of weight, would you? I would, in a heartbeat. How do we even know she has an eating
disorder? Famous people have
professional trainers and nutritionists, plus being thin is part of their job. Of course they're going to be thin. And if she is "too thin," or anorexic, so
what? So she's not a role model? Screw that.
Anyone who turns to Carrie Underwood to raise their children deserves to
be the parent of a future stripper/serial killer. The bottom line is, her name is Carrie
Underwood, and you can't have a porn star's name and be 400 pounds. She's hot, and that's awesome.

Singles
This week marks a clean sweep for Avril, as she also tops the singles chart. Akon appears on 3 of the top 10 tracks. He has officially gotten out of hand.
In other news, my boy Mims has come under fire for using
words like "bitch" and "ho" in his lyrics.
Several prominent people hoping to promote themselves by exploiting a
touchy social issue have called for a ban on these words on radio.
I, for one, support this ban. Don't get me wrong, I don't give a shit about
promoting good morals or treating women with respect. I just miss the days when you could get two
different versions of the same song.
Remember when Dre put out The
Chronic and they had to record clean radio versions of every song? It was like getting two albums in one. The clean version of "Dre Day" and the
explicit version ("F**k Wit Dre Day") are two completely different songs. Nowadays every rap song just cuts out
swearing, which means you get tons of awkward pauses in the radio/TV
version. Several songs are ruined
because of this. The worst ever was the
radio version of "All About The Benjamins," where Lil' Kim said like 4 words
over a 45 second span and the rest was just silence. It's like watching a hardcore porn on
TBS. So I plead to those in charge, make
cleaned up versions of the songs. Not
only will it keep TV pundits happy, but young bullies will have an easy time
deciding who to beat up when they see which of their pussy classmates purchased
the clean version of a rap CD.
