Tim McGraw is the biggest selling country artist for the first half of 2007. Tim raked in 1.4 million sales of his latest album, Let It Go, which clearly did not have one of the better album covers of the year so far.

So why did Tim sell more than anyone else so far this year?

"It's the combination of great new music and amazing catalog sales that allows Tim to stay at the top," said Benson Curb from Curb Records.

Actually Benson, it's called hype and people like you and your publicity team cause that stuff. I'm not saying Tim didn't put out one of the bigger and better country albums of the year, but you can convince me that Big Dog Daddy shouldn't have been the biggest dog here.
