French Culture Minister Christine Albanel honored The Police today at a ceremony in Paris, France. The boys of the reunited group, Sting, Stewart Copeland and Andy Summers were named chevaliers of the Order of Arts and Letters.
Sting said that he and the other members are "very happy to be among your knights." Ah, yeah, I bet you are Sting. I can't imagine anything more boring than watching The Police win a culture award. Yikes.
Anyway, this is just the latest in a series of accolades for the group.
