Up-and-comers (or, rather, now-are-there-ers) The National, who are currently playing music festivals in Europe, have added an American--and Canadian, eh-- leg to their tour, says Pollstar. They'll be doing quite a bit of state-hopping, playing shows in Washington, D.C., Los Angeles and Austin, TX, to name a few -- far from their hometown of Brooklyn, NY.
The tour begins September, 4th.
The band, which released their latest album, Boxer, on May 22nd, will spend just over a month on the road, concluding their tour in Toronto on October 8th.
