Pete Doherty and Carl Barat are in the studio today, working on a cover of the Beatles' "A Day In The Life" as part of the Radio2 tribute to the band. This is the first time they have recorded together in over three years
The NME reports Carl and Pete are in a West London studio this afternoon, recording the track.
The song will be broadcast on the Radio 2 show tomorrow night at 8pm.
Both Pete and Carl have maintained devotion to Babyshambles and Dirty Pretty Things, repeatedly, so while this will once again get people's hopes up for a full-scale Libertines reunion, I wouldn't get my hopes up. Too much, anyway.
