Rapper The Game is looking at the possibility of spending the next five years in prison. He'll stand trial for three felony charges - making criminal threats, possession of a firearm in a school zone and exhibiting a firearm on the grounds of a facility for minors.
The incident took place at a February 24 basketball game, where The Game apparently punched an opposing player during the game at the Rita Walters Educational Learning Complex in LA.
The judge in the case determined that there was sufficient evidence in the case and the arraignment is set for September 25.
He was arrested at his home on May 11 and after police searched his home for three hours he was later released on $50,000 bail.
The Game, born Jayceon Terrell Taylor, is signed to Geffen Records and his most recent release is 2006's excellent Doctor's Advocate, which features appearances from hip hop stars like Swizz Beatz, Scott Storch, Just Blaze and will.i.am. Taylor has two sons.
