Now that we've gotten the official word that The Eagles are together, the band has booked an appearance at the upcoming CMA Music Awards. Damn, everybody is so hungry to get a piece of the country pie these days.
The band will most likely perform their latest single, "How Long," which is about as sub-par as you might assume from a 36-year-old band. Oh, they also made a video for that one. Welcome to the hotel boring.
Don Henley and co. are looking forward to the release of a double-CD, Long Road Out of Eden, their first since 1979. The album is due out on October 30 - when it will be sold exclusively at Wal-Mart and Sam's Club.
Speaking of The Eagles love for country music, in October they'll perform a six-night stand with the Dixie Chicks at the Nokia Theatre in LA.
