The sixth-annual Pop Montreal festival has announced its first batch of performing artists. Some of the early headlining acts include Ted Leo and The Pharmacists, The National, Fujiya & Miyagi, and Jay Reatard. That's not all, as over 300 acts are slated to play over the course of the event.
Pop Montreal is a FIVE DAY festival that involves more than just music. It is a celebration of independent art, film, fashion, and photography that really encompasses the Montreal aesthetic. Pop Montreal also includes Puces Pop, which is a giant arts and crafts fair, as well as Film Pop, which is (you guessed it) a film festival.
Pop Montreal looks like it is shaping up to be a great time.
