ASCAP threw a party for Sugarland's second No. 1 hit, "Settlin'," which found the country duo joking with the crowd about therapy, competing collection agencies and divorce. Whoooo.

The duo of Kristian Bush and Jennifer Nettles celebrated with Tim Owens, who co-wrote "Settlin'" and has another hit on the charts with Brad Paisley's "Ticks."

Bush took the chance to suggest that other artists and producers need to snatch up Owens' songs as he's "really on fire." "Settlin'" was the first song written for Sugarland's latest, Enjoy the Ride.

Nettles went into detail about Owens' songwriting gift.

"He has so much energy anyway that it has to go fast. If you could plug him in, he could light up the whole block. He's wonderful to write with because of that. At the time, the whole context of the song -- of not settling -- was important because it was second album. It was the first song we had attempted to write. We knew there were a lot of eyes on us at that time, so we really wanted the message to empower us and reinforce what we wanted to put out," Nettles said.
