Melanie Brown, known to the world as Scary Spice, had a child with actor Eddie Murphy this past April. Brown finally revealed last week that Murphy is in fact the father of the child. She had been waiting for the results of a paternity test.
Now, the AP is reporting that Mel B got secretly married in June to boyfriend Steven Belafonte, a movie producer. According to Nevada court records, the couple was married in Las Vegas on June 6th.
So let's get this straight. She had a baby and didn't know who the father was, and then she got married in Las Vegas? Is she a Spice Girl or a "Jerry Springer" guest? And how come it takes people weeks to get the results of a paternity test when Maury Povich can do it in an hour?
