The Smashing Pumpkins released a new version of the Zeitgeist album today. That makes 7 different versions of the album that are available (check it out here if you don't believe me).

Now, I'm as big a Pumpkins fan as anyone who's not insane, but I can't understand the need for one bonus version of the CD, let alone six. The latest version does include three bonus tracks -- "Death From Above," "Stellar" and the previously unreleased "Ma Belle" -- plus a DVD documentary titled Inside the Zeitgeist. But is that worth it?  This album is solid, but it's not a classic or anything.

So here's the deal: I'm going to pretend these 6 bonus discs don't exist, and I'm going to listen to Siamese Dream while I wait for the Pumpkins to release "Doomsday Clock" as a single.
