The band was supposed to be in Europe through July 7th, but have changed their tour dates, dropping off the bills of the Roskilde Festival in Denmark and Finland's Ruisrock festival.
The band's statement is oddly worded and somewhat nonchalant: "We know that many of you have looked forward to hearing Slayer live, and that this announcement will be received with disappointment. We can only agree - it really is a shame."
A shame, indeed. Reportedly, all of the band's other scheduled dates are still good to go.
