Silverchair has agreed to a contract with the Warner Music Group's Independent Label Group. The label will help Silverchair release it's latest album, Young Modern, in North America on July 24th.
If you haven't heard Young Modern, it is streaming in full on Silverchair's official website. It's a good album; very different from what you may be used to hearing from Silverchair, but good.
